Hallelujah Everybody!

I'm not religious and I even had to google the word 'hallelujah' so it was spelt correctly.
There's only one person who can say 'hallelujah' and not make my skin itch.
Dolly Parton.
When she sang her 'Travelin' Through' from the film 'TransAmerica' at this years Oscars she just made me want to head to the nearest church and praise her. Hallelujah Dolly!
This skinny lady with her face pulled so tight her wig is on her back is the sweetest and loveliest preacher I have ever seen. Just for the fact that her song is a red neck, hillbilly song: the title track to a film about a pre-op transsexual who discovers that she has a son from when she was a guy. Hallelujah. And then she's standing there in Hollywood in front of a billion viewers and says 'Hallelujah/We're all God's children/I'm not here to judge you , I'm just travelin' through'.
Never have I seen a better context to use the word 'hallelujah' in.
Because if there is such a thing as God I'm sure that Dolly is the best side kick you can have.
Hallelujah.

ps. Vilken värme du utstrålar i dina ord om Dolly. Kan bara "surrender" till the fact att hon är en underbar kvinna!
