Williams' Blood

Hurricane by Grace Jones is one of our favorite albums of 2008. It has totally been worth waiting 19 years for this. And it's just firece that Ms. Jones outdid Madonna, Cyndi Lauper and Janet Jackson when it comes to creative spark and durability. She sounds hungrier than ever, they sound tired. Williams' Blood is the next single to be released from Hurricane and it's such a great track. We love that it's co-written by Jones with Wendy & Lisa. And the fact that the video due later this month is directed by Chris Cunningham is just the best news ever. We found this Areoplane remix that for some strange reason first was deleted from the official remixes by the record label. It's awesome! Download it here. Haha, 'tis funny. A few hours after I wrote this entry I went to a friend's b'day party. And there I started talking to one of her friends who turned out to be the sister of Lisa's wife. She gave me an advance copy of Wendy & Lisa's next album ' White Flags Of Winter Chimneys'. Fab!
