Roxette - She's Got Nothing On (But The Radio) - New Single

Roxette premiered their new single She's Got Nothing On (But The Radio) over the weekend and wow, it's great to see Marie Fredriksson back being the badass rock chick she is. We're so happy she recovered from her brain tumour. This is their first new material in 10 years! We've never been huge (or even small) fans of their work, although there is no denying how incredibly catchy Per Gessle's hooks are, and how they really were h u ge during the early 90's. The new album Charm School (out in Feb) is entirely written by Gessle, and judging by this single it's him running the show, with Marie deep in the mix, with a voice that has lost it's edge. It's sad! We thought of who would buy a new single and album by Roxette nowadays, and had to settle for "an old super fan", cuz this brings nothing new to the table at all, even though it's as super catchy as always. I can only agree with you... Being an old superfan myself, it is sad to hear that nothing has changed.... It is the same sound as back in the 90's.... Almost upsetting...
