Damien Hirst and a Tattooed Vagina by Hedi Slimane for Garage Magazine

In order to sell magazines nowadays you really need to pull out the big guns. So Dasha Zhukova (former editor-in-chief of POP Magazine, LACMA board member and Roman Abramovich's partner) figures she'll sell the hell out of her new project Garage magazine. As one of three covers for the first issue which comes out during London fashion week next month she's appointed people like Jeff Koons, Richard Prince, and Damien Hirst to create designs which then got tattooed for reals on people. Above is the Hirst cover which under the peel away butterfly boasts model Shauna Taylor's new tattooed vagina; butterfly wings that appear on her labia majora and mons pubis; her pudendal cleft forms the insect’s thorax and abdomen. Comments? We're no fans of tattoos at all, but we guess if you're gonna get one done, it might as well be a Damien Hirst design on your bits no?
